About our Dojo

       Founded in 2011 by Andy kent. Shimbukai Cambodia Karate inspires to be Cambodia’s premier Karate located in Phnom Penh committed to the practice and preservation of traditional Okinawan karate-do, and operates as a part of the Shimbukai Group Cambodia

        We focus on teaching traditional martial arts for the modern world. This means that while we offer group training, we recognize that each student is on an individual journey.  We offer classes for kids and families, and teens and adults and teach traditional Okinawan karate-do (Go-Ju), and other self-defense programs.

       Andy with his Khmer wife Kimsour also created School Karate Programs , and a Skills based School Physical Education Program . 

      Through the dedication to provide an excellent service Shimbukai is now the leading After School Program in Phnom Penh Cambodia.
